Description: Luster’s Stormshield Finish is a premium quality, solvent-based paint formulated for exterior use on cement rendering, rough cast, brick and concrete. It provides a smooth matt finish that has excellent adhesion to previously painted and suitably sealed surfaces. The dry acrylic copolymers resin enables application at temperatures down to -50c and become shower proof in 20minutes, allowing all year round exterior decoration.
Area of use: It is recommended for both interior and exterior of buildings. It is suitable for painting building structures exposed to industrial atmospheric pollutions and in coastal/salty conditions. As a result of its outstanding properties the product can be applied on new and old surfaces.
Substrates: Concrete (including lightweight concrete), cement rendering, asbestos cement panels, masonry, gypsum finish plaster, plaster board, brick, stone, block work, wood and pebble dash.

Luster Stormshield Finish is a long life decorative paint. It is composed of a dry acrylic copolymers resin base, carefully selected light-fast pigments and film preservatives to give a long lasting coating on painted surfaces.

Physical constants:
Specific gravity 1.00 – 1.20 g/cm3
Theoretical spreading rate: Approximately 60 – 100m2 / 20liters at two coats of finished work depending on the nature and porosity of the substrate.
Finish: Matt
Color range: Various colours including white, pastel and deep shades are available. The product can also be provided in customized shades.
Application Details:
Surface Preparation: Surface to be painted must be stable, clean, dry and firm. Remove dirt, oil and greasy materials, dust, all loose and flaky parts, old and weak paint film and any other surface contaminants by suitable mechanical and or chemical means.
Paint application: Apply two coats of LUSTER Silicoat emulsion paint by roller to the desire surface allowing a minimum of one hour interval between coats.
Flash point: Non-flammable
Drying time 2 – 3 hours
Overcoating time: 3 hour @ 25oC.
Application method: Roller or Spray.
Thinner: If required thin with not more than 5% fresh water.
Cleaning of tools: Clean immediately after use with Fresh water.
Packaging: 20 liters plastic container
Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions. Containers that are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
Disposal: Dispose off all used cans according to local and state
applicable regulations.
Safety Instructions: Handle with care. Before and during use, consult the product
Safety data sheet and follow all the safety regulations. Avoid inhalation, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and do not swallow. Apply only in well ventilated areas.
